Buyile is a dedicated lawyer, author, mentor and lecturer with more than 18 years of post-admission experience in both the public and private sectors. Admitted as an advocate at the Western Cape High Court in 2006, she holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Commercial Law from the University of Cape Town and is currently pursuing a PhD in Law at the University of the Witwatersrand.

Having served in the executive and legislative branches of the State, including the intelligence environment and serving in Boards, her legal career reflects a commitment to justice, governance, and institutional reform. Her experience includes vetting (background screening), compliance, risk management, and legislative oversight. She has served in leadership roles within National and Provincial legal structures, including:

Her qualifications and training include Project Management, Policy Writing & Evaluation, Mediation Training, Pension Law, Procurement Law, Advanced Intelligence Management, Legislative Drafting, and Judicial Skills Training. She is also a Certified Director.
