MY ROLE IN THE POLICE
From 2006 until 2014 I was an operation, effecting arrests, conducting preliminary investigations intended at effecting lawful arrests. Handling accused persons after arrest and processing arresting documents. Detaining and monitoring of the accused persons while in custody. Handling of complaints from the accused persons against the police at a station level.
From 2014 to 2018, I was a relief commander holding a rank of a Sergeant at the Johannesburg Cluster, Johannesburg Central SAPS. In this position, I was tasked with dealing with arrests effected by my juniors, ensuring that arrests were lawful and to comply with police Standing Orders and the laws of the Republic of South Africa. I was also tasked with training new recruits by incorporating their police theory with the practical and or operational part of policing.

I have completed my pupillage under the Mpumalanga Society of Advocates with an exemption. This comprises of a one-year apprenticeship in most, civil practice matters.
