He served in boards and councils and/or committees of the South African Heritage Resources; Independent Heritage Appeal Tribunal for Arts and Culture; SASSETA; Fasset, SAICA; SAIPA; Gauteng Education & Training Community College; and the Voting Rights Organisation of South Africa.

- South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) as a legal advisor where he dealt with issues of regulatory compliance, enterprise-wide risk management, training regulations, and discipline of trainee accountants and chartered accountants.
- Competition Commission of South Africa as Head of Education, Advocacy & Liaison focussing on compliance with the Competition Act and educating the trade unions, foreign investors, consumers and SMEs about competition law and policy.
- Law Society of South Africa (LSSA) as the Head of Legal Practice Management & Skills Development.
- South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) as a coordinator for legal, security and military education unit standards.
- Elijah Mango College as a lecturer of TSA Mercantile Law and Unisa History.
