Samu was admitted as an advocate in 2016 and called to the Bar the same year.

Samu obtained her LLB Degree at the University of Zululand in 2012, where after she participated in the LEAD SA Pretoria training in 2014. Pursuant thereto Samu was employed with the Department of Defence as A Legal adviser and litigation intern, followed by Legal Wise, Secunda before joining the Mpumalanga Society of Advocates in 2017.
